Advance voting for the parliamentary elections of spring 2015 is possible in Singapore from 8th to 11th of April. The parliamentary elections take place in Finland on Sunday, 19th of April.

On 22nd of January 2015 the Government decided on the general advance polling stations to be established abroad for the parliamentary elections in April. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs is responsible for organizing advance voting abroad.
Finnish diplomatic missions and their offices serve as general advance polling stations. The number of polling stations is 233 in a total of 89 countries. Every Finnish citizen who has reached the age of 18 years not later than on Election Day is entitled to vote in the 2015 parliamentary elections regardless of the place of residence.
A passport or other official identity card must be presented at the polling station. It is also good to take the notice of your right to vote with you, but it is also possible to vote without it.
A person entitled to vote who lives abroad will be notified by post if the register office of his or her last place of residence in Finland has the correct address.
Accreditation is necessary for all foreign media representatives wishing to cover the Finnish Parliamentary Elections 2015 and to take part in press conferences and other media events.

Media Programme for Parliamentary Elections
Sunday 19 April, Election night
Media facilities, located in the Annexe to the Parliament Building, called “the Little Parliament”, are open for accredited media from 12.00 onwards.
The election night will begin at 18.00.
The Press Room at the Little Parliament will offer simultaneous interpretation into English of the televised election night programme broadcast by YLE and a wireless internet connection (WLAN).
Please note that you are requested to present your ID at the entrance of the “Little Parliament”, when you collect your accreditation card.
