The Royal Danish Embassy in Singapore is handling and issuing Schengen visas on behalf of the Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland). Embassy of Finland participated in the Schengen Pilot Project of the Nordic embassies from 7 Nov 2005 to 31 Mar 2006 after which the agreement  was reached to continue the cooperation. Currently, all the Schengen visa applications to the Nordic countries are to be submitted directly to the Royal Danish Embassy. However, residence permit applications to Finland are handled by the Finnish Embassy.
